Biography of Matt Nolan
Warren County Auditor Matt Nolan was elected in 2014. Matt, his wife Kara, their daughter Adeline and their son Miles live in downtown Lebanon.
Prior to being elected Auditor, Matt served as Deputy Auditor under longtime Auditor Nick Nelson and previously as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney. Matt graduated from Miami University and The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.
Matt has been recognized for his work and efforts both in Warren County and across the State. In 2020 his fellow Auditors made him the first County Auditor rewarded the President’s Award for contributions to the Auditor’s Association. The Warren County Republican Party awarded the Les and Ellen Spaeth award for contributions to the Republican Party. The Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) has awarded Matt and the great staff at the Auditor’s office the Award of Distinction for excellence in financial reporting every year of his tenure.
Matt and Kara are active in community organizations throughout Warren County.
Matt serves as Treasurer of Warren County Community Services, Area Progress Council Board, Past-President of Lebanon Kiwanis, Past-Chairman of Elizabeth’s New Life Center, is on the executive committee of the Warren County Republican Party and is a member of the Warren County Bar Association.
